How to Download Music for Zune Cheaply

by Davion Wong

Most Zune lovers understand how it feels to get a new Zune player and cannot wait to find a place to download music for Zune. And we want to have our favourite songs like Big Girls Don’t Cry by Fergie and A Bay Bay by Hurricane Chris without hurting our wallets as well. Do not worry about it because it is the purpose of this article to discuss the download process and reveal how to download music for Zune cheaply.

You perhaps already know that you can find movies, music, videos and games for your Zune player at iTunes and Microsoft’s Zune marketplace and other online music stores like Amazon, HMV and more. At Zune marketplace, you can access millions of songs. For the price conscious, the price tag of $0.99 to $2 over for a piece of song at any of these music stores can really be a turn-off. Imagine how much it would cost to acquire hundreds of songs for your music collection?

Another option which is quite popular among Zune owners are the free download services. While these are generally free and you can download music for Zune to your heart’s content, you are also exposing your PC to the adware and spyware that comes attached with the music downloads. The extent of damage to your computer may be pretty bad when you realize that your computer is slower.

Another way to download music for Zune is to go the route of CD ripping. Either you rip your own CD for songs or you can always pop by a friend’s place for a CD you like. Since the Zune player is no different from other MP3 players, you might already be familiar with how to rip music from CD to your player especially if you own one MP3 player like iPod or Zen currently.

The process starts first when you open a media player like Windows Media Player. Insert the CD and select the songs or soundtracks you wish to download. Next, click on the Rip button. You should see the song list appearing in the Windows Media Player library. Using the USB cable, connect your Zune player to your PC and your player would synchronize with the Windows Media Player library to download music for Zune.

Even if the player is not syncing well, it is fine. You can simply copy the music files manually onto your Zune and it would work just fine except for the extra step. On your windows explorer, you would always see your Zune as an additional drive. Be sure to download to it correctly.

The file format for music is crucial if you wish to successfully download music for Zune playback. The reason why we encourage users to use Windows Media Player is so that the files are compatible with your Zune since it supports them. If you are using a different media player, make sure you can save the files as one of these formats - WMA, WMV, MP3, MP4 and MOV. DivX and RealMedia are not supported.

Other than the free sites as well as music CD ripping, you do have a third option which is a favourite among current Zune owners. This alternative comes in the form of paid membership services where you can have unlimited access to download music for Zune as well as movies, videos, games and even the latest software. All these are available without any bandwidth limits at a price lesser than $49 which is something even teens can afford.

I believe that by now, you should have a good grasp of where you can download music for Zune and do so affordably in a safe and secured environment. Check out my blog dedicated to Zune music, movies and videos on which are the reliable membership sites for unlimited Zune downloads.

Review Of Warcraft Millionaire

by Jim Wapp

Have you guys heard about Warcraft Millionaire? It’s a WoW gold making resource written by the first self-proclaimed WoW millionaire, Brad Johnson. There’s a lot of hype around this gold farming bundle and his video. Since it’s a fairly new product on the market, here’s my Warcraft Millionaire review.

The truth is that Brad’s methods are not nearly as superior as you would think. Warcraft Millionaire revolves around one important element to make tons of gold, it’s the Auction House.

We all know about it, we’ve all seen the large sums of gold that the Auction House can generate, but after reading his Auction House guide, we see how we rarely use it to our full advantage.

Don’t get me wrong, Warcraft Millionaire is NOT just a few pages of tips on the Auction House.

This gold package includes a Daily Quest guide as well. With patch 2.4, the daily quest limit is now 25 instead of 10. This whole guide explains the ins and outs of daily quests. Brad gives us inside suggestions on doing daily quests in the most efficient way.

Warcraft Millionaire also has its very own Grinding guide. It’s not the funniest thing to do in the world, but it gets the job done. Brad provides details on some of the rarest items in the game, just by picking some of these items will net you hundreds of gold.

Warcraft Millionaire also includes a WoW Basics guide and a lvl1-70 Killing Blueprint. This will help new players build a strong foundation of Warcraft fundamentals. The Killing Blueprint will help players who have not reached lvl70 to start making gold while they level.

You are also given a lifetime membership along with this gold bundle. With this membership, you have support from Brad personally. He will also provide you with regular game updates as the game changes.

Learn the secrets within Warcraft Millionaire; you will maximize your profit through whichever gold farming method you choose. This all-in-one gold farming gold will greatly benefit any beginner or advanced WoW players.

Make YouTube Videos Your Zune Videos

by Rashel Dan

The word has been out for the longest time that Zune videos are probably the best kind to have. This is due in part by the large screen of the player as well as the awesome sound that it produces.

Subscriptions - One can also get free or monthly subscription videos from sites but what about all those amateur and funny videos that everybody has been watching on YouTube? There is no way to stream the videos directly on the Zune player but with the right tools and processes, you too can have the YouTube videos played on your Zune.

The Format

Remember that all Zune players play one of three formats: MOV, WMV (which is the Microsoft Windows standard codec), and MPEG4. YouTube videos are never on this format. In fact, YouTube videos are more likely to be in the 3GP format that is recorded by mobile devices from phones or in the FLV format that is actually Flash-based video.

The reason for this is that it makes the video lighter and therefore easier to stream online. But the beauty of this is that the videos on YouTube can be ripped and therefore can be converted into Zune videos that can be used on the player.

What You Need

Internet Connection - To get all these FLV videos, you will need access to YouTube and thus a computer and an Internet connection. You will then need software called YouTuber Video Downloader. Once installed, right click on the icon and then select the New Download option. You then add a new download by copying and pasting a link of your desired YouTube video into the box next to the word URL. Choose a folder where you would like to save the video and click OK.

Getting Freeware - Now, the next thing you need is a freeware and this can also be downloaded for free online. This software can convert FLV files to MPEG4 and it can also convert many other types of formats. All you have to do is configure all the settings so that the output of the video will be MPEG4. Select the flash video that you downloaded from YouTube and drag it into the empty space in the software. Click the Encode button and just wait for the file to be converted.

Sync PC with Zune - Now, once you have the video converted, all you have to do is sync your Zune with your PC. Make sure that the new MPEG4 is in the folder where the Zune checks for videos. This is one of the best ways to get videos that you want from YouTube and if you can find videos from other sites in the FLV format and download them, you can go through the same conversion process to make them playable on your Zune. A simple sync of the converted files and you can enjoy your new Zune videos downloaded from YouTube!
