Increase Traffic By Using Article Directories

by James Conner

A tremendous amount of information can be found on the internet. Search engines crawl the web searching for sites with good information. The only thing that counts on the websites is text. If your page is short on text, your page will probably not rank well. Also, if your page has a considerable amount of text, but it’s haphazardly put together, it will probably not rank very high as well.

Enter private label articles. PLA’s are bundles of articles which consist of broad categories that are available for purchase in bulk from someone who brokers articles. Usually there is a choice between buying a monthly subscription whereby large groups of these articles are emailed to you or or you are sent a link where you can download them. Single purchases of groups of articles can also be made.

Most of the time, the articles are already optimized for the search engines using keywords that have been arranged properly, with correct grammar as well as spelling and a reasonable generic focus. The best thing is that they belong to you to do with as you want. You will have purchased all of the rights to the use of the article, and you can change it in whatever way you want to. You can add or remove content and you are able to put your name to it as the author if you want to.

Following the picking of the ideal keywords for your website, and method of sales- you can spread the private label articles throughout your website. If you use well-chosen keywords in the right places, your pages will climb high in the search engines.

How About Using Free Articles?

Most article directories allow you to download as much content for use on your website as you’d like. The only thing that is required of you is that you keep the resource box including the author’s website link and other information completely intact.

These articles are free for your use, atleast monetarily, but they will cost you in other ways. You may lose prestige, sales and customers. Just a couple of these articles, especially if you use articles from subject matter experts everything should be alright. If you pack your site with nothing but free articles, you are sending the wrong message. Particularly you are sending the message to your customers that you aren’t very knowledgeable in the subject to write your own articles.

You are also providing all who visit your website a fast way out and onto your competitor’s website. They only need to click that link in the resource box to go onto the author’s website. If the article is written well enough to garner your attention, it most likely will capture the attention of your customer as well. It’s likely that they will go on to search for that same author.

Those author’s resources boxes sometimes steal your sales and along with them, your customers. You won’t even know it’s happening.

Other Things That Can Improve Your Search Engine Rankings

The article directory method coupled with private label articles can increase your ranking in the search engines. This is the method that other people use. Most articles that are submitted to article directories are accepted as long as they are written with some degree of competency by persons who have adhered to the article directories’ terms of use. You can give your own private label articles, written under your name along with your resource box, to the article directories as well.

The first thing this does is set up another link to your website from the article directory. Every time someone links to your website, your ranking goes up just a little bit. This works especially well if the link includes your chosen keywords as well. Since the resource box is yours to set up, you can ensure that the keywords used are exactly what you want.

Internet TV on Computer

by Jed Elaine

TV is undoubtedly getting to be a cosmopolitan culture. In fact, there are now different forms of TV transmission. There’s the conventional broadcast, cable, satellite and more recently Internet TV. The choice of which form to adopt is largely individual and lifestyle-dependent but the current rage is in Internet Satellite TV.

Internet is accessed through a computer. As such, Internet Satellite TV is inherently TV on computer, unless it is further channeled out of the computer onto other devices or displays. It is important to note though, that the internet is not the only possible feed for TV on computer. For example, when a computer is equipped with a TV tuner card or box, it can be plugged with a TV signal cable to function as a TV. The signal cable feed can be broadcast, cable, dish satellite or internet satellite. When supported with the necessary software, the computer can also multi-task as a TV and a computer simultaneously.

There are basically 2 versions of Internet Satellite TV. The first one is the websites that operate satellite TV channels on the internet. They generally provide rather closed selections of program that adhere to their own specific theme or purpose. In other words, it’s not full-fledged TV. The second one is the service providers which access various satellite TV stations from all over the world and then streamed them over the internet. They do this on a commercial basis and are definitely complete TV, and then some.

Technically speaking, Internet TV on Computer is satellite TV streamed over the internet directly to our computers. This can be achieved through software or hardware. Software packages for this purpose are highly specialized application programs while hardware can involve add-ons, retrofits or just modification. Of the available options, the most practical and hence most popular, is the software approach.

Given the rage in this form of TV, it comes as no surprise that there’s an abundance of such service providers on the internet itself. While there are genuine ones, many of them would just be out for a fast buck. Fortunately, there are review sites to turn to and the more credible ones are easy to tell apart. We can get some pretty reliable and professional recommendations from them free of charge.
