Pay Per Click! The Best Cost-Effective Traffic Generating Method.

by Dai1952

For quite a time now pay per click marketing has been used by new and experienced internet marketers who want to provide increased traffic to their website in a short space of time. For a quite a while, people have been using this technique as it is clear this type of marketing comes out far ahead of other methods of advertising. There are a great many misunderstandings about how pay per click works which I hope will be addressed below.

All that happens here is an advert (some text with a URL link), often in blocks of two or more, is placed on various other websites that are popular and receive large numbers of visitors. Then, whenever anyone clicks that ad, they will be taken to your site, and if they stay there for more than five or ten seconds, you will pay the hosting site a very small amount of money.

So, the advert you have inserted on another site must be directly related to the products / services the host site is offering or the ads would be wasted.

As an alternative to paying for a whole month of advertisements that could bring you no clients, with PPC [ pay per click ] you only pay if people se the advertisement and follow thru to your site. In the past there were many complaints about bills being run up by competitors clicking on an advert link but that is not the case. From a business viewpoint, pay per click marketing is extremely effective at targeting the exact market the business wants. The people visiting the hosting site are already looking for related products or services to those you are offering.

The biggest, and most famous of these pay-per-click services, is a company named Google with their program called Adwords. Your ad will appear when people search Google for term or phrase that you choose. If you paid a high fee for the search term, you could see your sponsored ad at the very top of Google’s search page, or at the right side of the page.

For many marketers, part of the attraction of pay-per-click marketing is the immediate results. A lot of companies make use of this technique to find out just how good their ad-copy will be, even before they use it, in more costly areas. For efficiency, cost and speed, pay-per-click search marketing is far superior to almost all other methods of advertising, and thats the main reason why companies continue to use it.

Resellers for Clickbank know only too well that Adwords is the most effective pay per click engine for driving targeted traffic to any website you might care to name. Recently, a series of programs have been launched that take us, step-by-step, thru the process of setting up Adwords campaigns designed to drive targeted traffic to our sales pages. With this type of help, we can look forward to getting the best value for our money using pay per click, and at a very low cost.

Smartphones Do More than Just Call

by CK Murray

What is a smartphone? A smartphone is still a cellular phone only with some additional technology added to it. It often features PDA scheduling options, multifunction address book, text messaging and web browsing. In addition you many smartphones have cameras, some even with video recording capabilities and GPS navigation systems built into the phone.

With all the features of the most popular portable gadgets combined into one smartphone you can carry just one device that does almost everything. It won’t drive for you though, so it is recommended getting a hands free Bluetooth headset and setting that up with your phone so that you can multitask with ease.

One thing that has proven to be very handy that smartphones have is a camera. People are now able to snap pictures (some even take video) during moments of life that they would not normally have had a camera with them. So we are catching snapshots of life we didn’t used to see.

Of course, style is still a factor. You want your phone to call your friends and family and still look good. With the growing popularity of text messages and social networks, Twitter for example, many smartphones manufacturers are including full QWERTY keyboards on their models making quick work of typing out all those messages.

So, a smartphone is definitely more than just a phone. Now you’re carrying your cellular phone, your PDA, your GPS navigator, your address book, your dayplanner, your video camera, and your point and shoot camera all in one small package with a full keyboard. In today’s digital age it’s good to be able to condense all these gizmos and gadgets into one handy little super gadget to get things done efficiently with.
